Waiver of Subrogation:  When an insurer waives their right to subrogation.

Warranty:  A written guarantee of some product or service.

Windshield:    Cracked or broken windshields are covered under the comprehensive portion of the auto insurance
policy.  In Florida there is no deductible applied to coverage for a damaged windshield.

Windstorm:  A storm with high winds and a named covered peril in insurance contracts.

Write:  Term used to indicate the transaction of insurance through an application.

Written Premiums:  The accumulated premiums of a specific book of business (see book of business).
