"Full Coverage"- I frequently hear the term used loosely, but what exactly is it?
First thing to know is that there really is no such thing as 'full coverage." It is just a term (liberally used) referring to
physical damage coverage, aka- comprehensive and collision. 'Collision' covers damage incurred in a collision with
another object (such as another vehicle). 'Comprehensive' covers damage to your vehicle from vandalism, theft, fire,
and other causes. If you are leasing or financing your vehicle, this coverage is mandatory per the lien holder (the
entity that collects payments on the vehicle). There is a deductible associated with both of these coverages. The
higher your deductible, the lower your rate. It's good to know as much as you can about your policy contract,
