What Is Remote e-Sign and Why It’s Better
Remote e-Sign is simply a streamlined way to sign your insurance paperwork at the point of sale without extra steps.
Here’s what’s different:

If you’re eligible, you can sign your documents immediately after your quote is completed — no waiting for follow-up emails.
✅ No Progressive account required
Your phone number is verified in real time, so there’s no need to create a login just to sign your policy.
✅ Works on any device
Phone, tablet, or desktop — you can sign from whatever device you’re using at the moment.
✅ Traditional signing is still available
If Remote e-Sign isn’t available for your situation, the standard signing process is still there as a backup.
Who’s Eligible for Remote e-Sign?
Eligibility is determined automatically during your quote.
As long as you provide your mobile phone number up front, Progressive checks it in real time and lets me know immediately whether you qualify for Remote e-Sign before the sale is ever finalized.
If you qualify, you sign instantly.
If not, we simply use the traditional signing method.
Either way, there are no delays in getting your policy active.
